This Wiki is provided by PBWiki and the new version 2.0 allows us a little control about how we allow it to be edited. This format will allow us to have a very interactive web site because you will be able to edit as needed and when needed. Enter your events on the calendar page, post a few pictures, create your own page to promote your event. You get the idea. The free version has a 10 meg storage limit so most of the pictures will be stored on the real web site insead of here, but we still want your photos so please send them to the webmaster and I/we will link them to here.
There are four levels of membership.
Administrators
As the wiki's creator, FOUwebmaster is the admin. As the admin, we are the gods of these interrelated FOU, SOU & ACES wikis. We can delete pages, change and disable invite keys for Editors, Writers, and Readers. Admins alone have access to the wiki's Settings page. Only share an Admin password with the people who have webmaster access.
Editors
Editors are members of the FOU board, the SOU project team, and/or ACES officers who are super-privileged Writers. They can delete pages and files, including revisions and revision histories. Editors should be very carefull, since you can delete this data irrevocably.
Writers
Writers are the FOU membership, the SOU advisory group, and dues-paying members of ACES. Writers can edit pages and revert pages to previous versions. They can also upload new files and create new pages. Writers do not delete any information and what they edit can be reverted to the old version by any Editor or Administrator, since they cannot perform any action that cannot be undone.
Readers
Readers cannot make any modifications at all to a wiki. They only can read the pages, RSS feeds, and files. They can see page revision histories. Readers don't need an invite key in a public wiki. Readers should e-mail the webmaster if they think they qualify to be given writer or editor status.
Webmasters
Webmasters are Mark Pulver, Ivan Okhin, and Harry Stevens.
